If you don’t believe that one being is powerful, then you’ve never tried to sleep in a tent with a single mosquito.

I’ve personally experienced that unique kind of power. It’s impressive. Not to mention powerfully annoying when you hear that disproportionately loud whining eeeeeee sound at 3am, and you can’t locate that little bugger in the darkness.

But in all seriousness though, one person can be very powerful. Think Oprah, Lady Gaga, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela or Steve Jobs. All have helped to change the world in a big way, and yes they certainly all have people behind them now, but it wasn’t always that way.

They all started one little idea. The one little idea that grew and grew, until it became something so much bigger than the original thought.

They all faced adversity, naysayers, self doubt and what seemed like insurmountable obstacles in front of them. But they believed and kept going.

They all fanned the flames of something that could possibly grow into something bigger. They started speaking their truth. Each in their own way. Each one unique. Each one following their own path.

This is something I look to now because I have an idea. It’s been dancing around for years and now it’s coming into its full power.

It’s time to stop thinking and start doing.

It’s time to speak my truth.

Some will listen and love. Some will listen and they won’t. That’s okay. I’m not for them.

I’m ready to take the leap and own my power. I will share my gift because someone out there somewhere needs to hear it and maybe I’m the only one who’ll say it in a way that they can connect with. In a way that they can believe.

Someone’s waiting for that.

And someone is waiting for you too.

They’re waiting for you to own your power. To fan the flames of your idea.

You have a gift that belongs only to you and it’s there for a reason. It has to be shared.

Remember, there is great power in one.
